Colour me impressed - I didn't expect Halcyon's Ariadoll body to pose and stand so well.  The ankles are quite flimsy, but they're the only weak points in the body.  Once I've balanced the ankles, she holds poses very well. I think the shoes help a lot, and though the body is a pain to restring (narrow channels, elastic crossing at the hips), I think its design also makes a difference.

This is also the first double-jointed doll I've handled in ages (Syr and Justinian are single-jointed), and I've completely forgotten how freeing it is to have a much bigger range of motion for my dolls.  I can't wait to get newer dolls and discover how joint engineering has improved over time.
